GSBF Connect: Manufacturing and Innovation in Southeast Asia

Southeast Asia has remained a bright spot with ASEAN; poised for a 4.5 per cent real GDP growth in 2021 (Source: IMF). ASEAN’s growth is expected to accelerate with the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which will create the world’s largest trading bloc comprising about 30 per cent of global GDP and about a third of the world’s population. The Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) jointly present Germany Singapore Business Forum Connect: Manufacturing and Innovation in Southeast Asia. This 2-hour virtual event will start with a spotlight on the manufacturing landscape in Southeast Asia, and the investment and partnership opportunities open to German manufacturing companies in the region. In the second hour, German corporates will share on their specific innovation interests and the co-innovation opportunities open to Singapore companies.
