Agriculture Expert Seminar: Renewable Energy in Smart Farming

We would like to invite you to the last expert seminar on “Renewable Energy in Smart Farming” as part of the Business Scout Fund Project “Digital Transformation in Agriculture” with focus on India and Indonesia.

Insights and practical experiences are, for example, shared by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems, the University of Hohenheim, Hans-Ruthenberg Institute for Agricultural Sciences in the Tropics and BayWa r.e.. The project led by OAV – German Asia-Pacific Business Association in cooperation with Steinbeis Research gGmbH and financed by the Business Scouts for Development Programme on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), addresses stakeholders from universities, research institutes and the business community in agriculture from the African partner countries Morocco, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Cameroon and the Asian partner countries India and Indonesia, to transfer know-how and discuss feasible applications of digital technologies into the agricultural and food sector.
