OAV's new initiative 'Ambassadors in Dialogue'

The initiative 'Ambassadors in Dialogue' aims to foster closer ties and business cooperations between Germany and the Asia-Pacific region. Ambassadors representing this dynamic part of the world are invited to join a delegation visit to a particular 'Bundesland' to gain first-hand insights into local companies. Meetings with politicians, scientists as well as cultural activities add to the experience of the rich regional diversity found across Germany. Participating companies, institutions and organisations benefit from meeting Ambassadors face-to-face to discuss business opportunities or address their issues.

The inaugural Ambassadors in Dialogue took place from 17th to 18th September 2020 in Germany’s southwestern region of Rhineland-Palatinate. The two-day programme was organised in cooperation with the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viniculture. 12 ambassadors joined the delegation which was led by OAV’s former Chairman Mr Hans-Georg Frey.
