OAV Young Leaders - Autonomous Driving in China and Germany: What we can learn and how we can cooperate
05. October 2022
The development of autonomous driving is speeding up in China and Germany. China is currently pushing forward the commercialisation of level 3 vehicles. Pilots for robotaxis on public roads are currently rolled out in Shenzhen, Shanghai and other cities. Germany has been the first country to introduce legislation for allowing driverless cars on public roads. Both countries are home to a growing supply chain for software, sensors, systems as well as OEMs working on the next level of autonomous driving.
In light of these facts, we kindly invite you to our webinar on "Autonomous Driving in China and Germany: What we can learn and how we can cooperate", taking place on 05 October 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
The webinar focuses on the opportunities and challenges that autonomous driving faces in Germany and China. This pertains to the technological development, the political and regulatory framework and commercialisation of relevant business models. A key question is how each of the countries deals with these developments. How can they learn from and cooperate with each other in this rapidly growing technological area.
