22. July 2020, Webinar
The recent corona-crisis and the corresponding lockdowns have severed long established supply chain links and forced many companies to re-invent and adapt their logistics and supplier relations. These disruptions have struck open and globally-interconnected economies like Singapore’s especially hard. A multitude of multi-national companies have chosen the city-state as a hub for their ASEAN or Asian business activities, among them about 1,800 German corporates. Now, after more than three months into the crisis we want explore if there are already best practices on how to cope with the “new normal”.
We cordially invite you to join our webinar “Covid-19 Resilience in Asia: Supply Chain Management in Singapore”, which is organised by EDB in cooperation with OAV. Three German companies will share on their experiences coping with Covid-19 lockdowns in Asia – in manufacturing, in regional stocking and distribution, and in third-party logistics. Learn their strategies and insights on achieving flexibility and resilience in a time of crisis.
The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), a government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is responsible for strategies that enhance Singapore’s position as a global centre for business, innovation, and talent.
