After years of steady and evolving business opportunities Hong Kong has experienced over the last year a shift in its business environment. Political uncertainties and unrests met the COVID-19 crisis at the beginning of the year and leave German businesses with a number of questions regarding upcoming strategies. How will COVID-19 influence German businesses in Hong Kong? Will new Innovations and Technologies currently emerging in Hong Kong set new standards for Europe? How will Hong Kong re-invent itself and what are the possible consequences?

The OAV in cooperation with the Deutsche Hongkong Gesellschaft e.V. and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) would like to cordially invite you to our Webinar „Changing Business Landscape in Hong Kong” on 26 August 2020.
Wolfgang Niedermark, Chief Representative of the German Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong will give an insight of the current situation in Hong Kong including political uncertainties and what future changes German companies need to expect. Winsome Chan, Director Germany and Central Europe at the Hong Kong Trade and Develop Council will examine business opportunities without flying to Hong Kong. Representatives of the Hong Kong based companies Prenetics and Sinofuture Group Limited will discuss new opportunities emerging from the COVID-19 crisis as well as new technologies and innovations designed in Hong Kong. At the end of the Webinar participants will have the opportunity to raise questions to all of our fours experts.
