Talent Pool Asia
We are inviting you to attend our conference "Talent Pool Asia - Training and Retention of the Next Generation" in Hamburg on 4th March 2016.
Competition for talents is one of the most challenging issues for companies across the globe. Lack of adequate skills and high attrition rates make training and retention strategies vital for successful operation of national as well as foreign and multinational businesses, especially in Asian countries. As German companies with a strategic interest in Asian markets act more and more globally, they increasingly depend on the “Talent Pool Asia”. Training and further learning are core to an innovating work-
force. Notonly do companies need to find and absorb talent in the labour market, they need to retain and nurture these talents in order to reap the fruits of employee development and loyalty. This conference will focus on viable strategies for integration of freshers from Asia into subsidiaries abroad as well as head offices, while also looking at the role diversity strategies play for nurturing loyalty and minimising attrition, especially among the female workforce. Building on the output of the preceding conferences “Talent Pool Asia – Gender Diversity as Success Factor for German and Asian Enterprises” in 2014 and “Talent Pool Asia – Tackling Talent Shortage in the Global Economy” in 2015 the OAV – German Asia-Pacific Business Association and the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce want to continue and expand the dialogue between Asian and German business leaders on strategies to overcome the global skills shortage.
“Talent Pool Asia – Training and Retention of the Next Generation” on 4th March 2016, 9.00 – 12.45hrs at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce
